The Diocese and parishes have the responsibility to ensure that a healthy and safe working environment is provided for all employees, volunteers, visitors, contractors.

The policy aims to encourage supervisors and staff to take responsibility for ensuring the workplace is healthy and  safe; to involve employees in the development and maintenance of a healthy and safe workplace; and to assist  in monitoring the work environment.
